An exhibition of ancient cars of one day in the Frere Hall attracted large crowds of car enthusiasts, and Rolls-Royce, 101 years old, which was once owned by Lord Mountbatten and later of Quaid-i -Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, became the main attraction.

Organized by the first online museum of Pakistan, the Ancient Cars Museum, this event marked the third annual exhibition of the museum.

The greatness and historical importance of Frere Hall provided the perfect backdrop for the exhibition of 120 old cars, which exhibit rare jewels in the history of the car. The exhibition, free and open to the public, attracted enthusiasts and curious from all areas of life.

Among the vehicles presented, the oldest was 101 years old, while the most recent incorporation was a 30 -year -old classic.

In his speech at the event, Shoaib Qureshi, founder of the Ancient Cars Museum, highlighted the cultural importance of preserving this type of vehicles. “Ancient cars are an integral part of the art and heritage of a country,” he said. “Exhibitions like this not only project a positive image of Pakistan but also celebrate the passion of local collectors who preserve these treasures despite the numerous challenges.”

Qureshi lamented the absence of a museum dedicated to classic cars in Pakistan. He expressed his vision of establishing the first physical museum of old cars in Karachi. “We hope to get the support of the Government or the private sector to create a space throughout the year where people can admire these vehicles,” he added.

The ancient cars museum was founded three years ago to gather in a single platform historical and uncommon vehicles of Pakistan. “Through this initiative, we want to show the world that Pakistan is no less than any other country in the preservation of car history,” Qureshi said.
