- Lenovo’s thought book “Codename Glip” is an oral folding ai folding portable computer from 18.1 inches
- It offers five different ways for multitasking, collaboration and creative workflows.
- It remains a concept for now, without details about the price, availability or durability.
It is clear that Lenovo loves “thinking differently”, as Apple did once. In CES 2025, he removed the most rolrable thought wrappers of Gen 6, the world’s first laptop with an roller screen, and now in MWC 2025 it is showing the laptop “Codename Name Flip”, which combines two 13 -inch OLED screens on a giant screen of 18.1 inches.
It looks incredible, and I definitely want one, but I worry that it is quite easy to break in real life.
Actually, we wrote about Flip Thinkbook in January 2025, but at that stage, many of the details about the laptop had not yet revealed. Although Lenovo is describing the device as a key culminating point of its MWC 2025 plans, some questions remain, although at least we have more information about it.
A mode choice
Designed to admit workflows with AI and adaptable work spaces, the 18.1 -inch OLED screen folds out, which allows users to change between a 13 -inch compact laptop shape and a work space expanded vertically for multitasking and collaboration.
Lenovo says that Flip will offer five different modes. The CLAMSHELL mode works as a traditional configuration of the laptop, while the vertical mode is designed to review documents. The shared mode is for the double sample collaboration, the table of the tablet is for creative tasks, and the reading mode provides a reading experience without distractions.
Driven by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, with 32GB LPDDR5x memory and SSD PCIe storage, the device includes Thunderbolt 4 ports for fast data transfer and a fingerprint reader for commercial class safety.
Lenovo says that the device will offer multitasking functions with AI food, such as the divided screen of the work space, which allows users to execute multiple applications next to each other without the need for external monitors. The Smart Forcepad presents a three -layer illuminated board, adding numerical keys and media controls for intuitive operation.
Thinkbook “Codename Flip” is described as a preview of the future of hybrid work environments, combining a flexible design with improved productivity tools with AI. Because it is still a concept, availability, prices or if screen insurance will be offered as tranquility for the terminal butter cone; With luck more details will be revealed in the coming months.
