The Federal Cabinet has approved a summary to increase the salaries of federal ministers, state ministers and advisors, Express News reported.
After approval, the monthly salary for federal ministers, Ministers of State and advisors will be 519,000 RS519,000. According to the sources, the salary increase reflects an increase of up to 188% for these offices.
This development occurs two months after the Finance Committee of the National Assembly approved a proposal to bring the salaries and advantages of the members of Parliament (MPS) and the senators in line with those of the federal secretaries.
The decision was made unanimously by the committee under the presidency of President Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
