EXCLUSIVE: Two members of the Board of Directors of the EE. UU. They are demanding the other six members, claiming that President Damien Lehfeldt made false statements to Congress at an audience of the Subcommittee of the Efficiency Department of the Government of May 7 (Doge) on transgender athletes.
The lawsuit, which seeks to have eliminated Lehfeldt as president of Fencing from the USA.

The plaintiffs, Andrey Geva and Abdel Salem, have long ties with sport and organization.
Geva is a former US National Coach who led the US Women 1996 was appointed the coach of the US Olympic Committee. UU.
Now, they are taking the organization to court after claiming Lefheldt falsely announced Geva’s resignation to the Board at a meeting on June 7, and more than several accusations involving the Dux hearing on May 7.
The demand states that Lehfeldt made “false and deceitful claims” at the audience, which now runs the risk that the organization be declassified as a national governing body (NGB).

Geva says he tried to speak at the audience too, but alleges that he faced “threats” with the aim of “deter” him. Geva finally presented a letter to Senator Ted Cruz, Republican of Texas, on May 2, expressing “opinion about the advantage of biological men over women in fences.” The Cruz office had recently opened an investigation into the Fencing of the United States on its transgender eligibility policy after Turner’s incident.
Then, the letter was referenced during the Dux hearing by the president of the subcommittee Marjorie Taylor-Grenne.

The lawsuit alleges that Geva was sent by a member of the Board, blaming him for his honest personal opinion, and then two members of the Board requested a “special meeting of the Board aimed at eliminating or disciplining the plaintiff Geva.”

USA Fencing has recognized the lawsuit in a statement to Pak Gazette Digital.
“USA. Fencing proudly attends its members (athletes, coaches, referees and clubs) throughout our community with absolute transparency and integrity. This demand derived from our organization, and we will strongly defend the organization in court; any attempt to despise them will be adequately addressed,” reads the declaration.
“Because the litigation is in progress, we cannot discuss the details. Our approach remains unwavering: to advance in fences throughout the country, support the success of each member and maintain the values of the Olympic and Paralympic movement.”
The organization has been under immense national scrutiny after the launch of the images of Turner’s protest on April 2.
Lefheldt’s testimony at the May 7 audience only intensified criticism.
Lehfeldt, who was summoned and did not come voluntarily, raised the controversy before the audience with a series of Instagram stories that were then exploited and used against him on the committee’s floor. In a publication, which went viral before the audience, he answered a question that he asked if he was “well” to put the female features at a disadvantage with a simple and shameless response: “Yes.”
Then, during the audience, Lehfeldt admitted several times that he regretted having answered that way and admitted that the question required a “more nuanced” answer.
At one point during the audience, Lefheldt confessed to falsify an email from a fictitious fencing mother “Dorothy” who did not agree with him and called those members with a similar opinion of “Dorothy” “Great Mago” by Ku Klux Klan.
“It was a bad attempt of humor,” Lehfeldt said.
The representative Tim Burhcett, R-Ten., He asked Lehfeldt if he would let his daughter be against “a man.” Lehfeldt suggested that he would allow it while boasted of the safety precautions of his organization.
“While the competitor has met all the hormonal requirements and meets the policy, it would agree with it,” said Lehfeldt.
Later at the audience, representative Nancy Mace, RS.C., suggested that Lehfeldt “was not” a man for the gender eligibility policy of his organization.
“Royal men protect women, you are not a,” said Mace.
Mace even asked Lehfeldt to simply apologize to Turner for punishing the fencer, to which the chair declined and pointed out that Turner received a black card for his rejection.
Turner told Pak Gazette Digital after the Dux audience that he would work to press the leadership changes in the US.
“I’m going to press so that people give up, to be honest. I would like to see some people give up the comments they have made, especially publicly, who are harassing and destined to humiliate women, mothers and daughters worried,” Turner said.
Now, two members on the Board of Directors have joined that cause.
Amid the scrutiny ongoing, the United States Board voted to amend its current policy that prioritized states With friendly laws with LGBTQ for host sites for competitions and a policy that may have avoided the game of the national anthem at some events, at its June 7 meeting.
The previous policies became one of the main points of criticism of the organization after Turner’s viral protest.
The Fencing of the United States has refused to explain the motivation behind the changes.
