The tensions between treasure legislators and the opposition seemed to have reached a boiling point on Tuesday after an alleged assault of an opposition MPA in a treasure member, followed by reprisals of Tit -for-Tat by the private legislators of the Treasury legislators against the opposition’s MPA.
As the house procedures were put in progress on Tuesday under the president of the interim president, Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channer, both the treasure banks and the opposition joined when calling it the darkest day in the recent history of the Assembly, although each side painted a different villain.
Treasury banks guilt directly to the shoulders of the opposition, accusing their members of initiating the clash, while the opposition pointed to the fingers to the private guards of the Treasury legislators, accusing them of assaulting the assembly and attacking the MPA of the opposition.
Treasury members compared the behavior of the opposition with a repetition of the chaos of May 9 at the Punjab assembly, accusing them of fan disorder. The opposition, in turn, accused the treasure of creating panic unleashing the private muscle inside the house.
The attached leader of the opposition, Muhammad Moendin Riaz, demanded a rapid action, asking for an immediate suspension of Khalid Hassan Riaz of PML-N, registered with a FIR one against the private guards accused of physically assaulting the legislators of the opposition and launching the abusive language and the suspension of the security officer of the Assembly for not stopping the entry of the art.
Defending the position of the treasure, the provincial minister of parliamentary affairs Mian Mujtaba Shuja Ur Rehman said that Mpa Hassan Riaz was heading to the chair when the opposition legislators began to mark it and subsequently attacked him.
He acknowledged that the incident within the Media Hall justified adequate investigation.
However, he argued that if the FIRs will be presented against those accused of attacking the opposition, the cases must also register against the opposition’s MPA responsible for sowing anarchy inside or outside the chambers of the Assembly.
However, in the guilt game, the opposition seemed to sustain the lead, building its argument around the participation of private guards in the fight and suspension of their MPA, Sheikh Imtiaz, who had simply pointed out the lack of quorum.
While the Treasury legislators repeatedly denounced the opposition assault of the opposition Khalid Nisar to tell the MPA Hassan Riaz and accused the Imtiaz sheikh of using an abusive language towards the speaker of action, Channer, the opposition repressed the accusations, insisting on the matter strictly within the four walls of the house. They argued, how can they be allowed private hooligans to attack legislators? The opposition also rejected the statement that Sheikh Imtiaz had launched any abusive comment, maintaining that the fight was activated by Hassan Riaz de PML-N, who supposedly used an inappropriate language first.
However, the interim president, Channer, assured the house that there would be strict punishment if an attack of any private individual was proven.
Treasury legislator Hassan Riaz boycott the Chamber’s procedures on the MPA Ijaz Shafi MPA nomination of the opposition to the Committee formed to investigate the attack of individuals. He also demanded Shafi’s suspension, claiming that it was the real cause of the fight.
Meanwhile, the treasure legislator, Amina Persen, raised concern about the delay in the delivery of the traffic Chalins. She denounced that people receive obsolete challans at home instead of receiving them in time.
