The WrestleMania 42 title picture became clearer Saturday night at WWE Elimination Chamber.
Randy Orton and Rhea Ripley earned victories in their respective men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches and earned title shots at WrestleMania, which takes place April 18-19 in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium.

Orton came into the men’s match as a wild card. He had to overcome Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, LA Knight, Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans to win the match.
Fortunately for Orton, Paul was excited as he eliminated three opponents. But Paul did not take into account the attack of a masked man. The person entered the chamber after a superstar was eliminated. He then stomped on Paul, who was then eliminated by Rhodes. Moments later, Seth Rollins revealed himself as the masked man.
Rhodes needed to be kept on high alert when WWE Undisputed Champion Drew McIntyre entered the match. He hit Rhodes before Orton got involved. He gave McIntyre an RKO and Rhodes nailed him with the Cross Rhodes. Rhodes was distracted long enough for Orton to hit the “American Nightmare” with an RKO. Orton pinned Rhodes for his championship opportunity.

In the women’s match, Ripley entered fifth. She managed to avoid some of the chaotic moments when Asuka hit Alexis Bliss with green mist. Kiana James pinned Bliss and eliminated her, but it was enough of a distraction to help Raquel Rodriguez. She took advantage and applied a Texan bomb to Asuka and James. She pinned both competitors and eliminated them.
Ripley’s experience on camera paid off. He went to the high-risk district and hit a cannonball from the top of a capsule. It allowed Tiffany Stratton to perform the most beautiful Moonsault of all time with a pin to eliminate Rodriguez.
Ripley and Stratton were the last two left. Ripley hit Stratton with an electric facebuster, causing the former champion to bleed from the nose. When Stratton regained the advantage, she attempted to set up Ripley for another moonsault, but Ripley shoved her into the capsule.
Ripley forced Stratton back into the ring, hit the Riptide and pinned Stratton.

Orton will face McIntyre for the WWE Undisputed Championship. Ripley will challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship.
