- The first Pocket 4 leaks of DJI Osmo have appeared.
- We could get an additional sensor and an additional screen
- It is not clear when the next Cardan Chamber of DJI could be launched
In our review DJI Osmo Pocket 3, we gave the Cardan Chamber 4.5 stars of 5, declaring that it is “class leader”. In fact, it is still in the first place of our best guide of Vlogging cameras two years later, so expectations are high for follow -up, and we have just seen the first leaks for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4.
Experienced Tipster @quadro_News has published an image of what is described as a “pocket prototype 4”, and we also have a couple of different images of the camera of the well -known Focus Focus Digital as well.
None of these images is of a particularly high quality, but they give us an idea of how the design of the device could change this time. It seems that we could obtain a second camera sensor to improve the capture of photos and videos, and potentially to expand the types of shots that can be captured.
In addition, it seems that there could be screens both in the front and on the back of the camera, although it is not clear exactly how they could be used. Two screens could also increase the price of $ 519 / £ 489 / AU $ 849, if it ever reaches stores, but we will have to wait and see.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 3, which was launched in October 2023, is a relatively expensive kit, but it is enough in terms of characteristics and video quality to justify the price. It was also a fairly significant update on pocket 2 that came before.
As these are the first leaks that we have seen around the DJI Osmo Pocket 4, we do not know too much about what to expect from the updates this time, although they are likely to be improvements in the camera sensors and the resolutions of photo and videos.
Without a doubt, more internal storage would be welcome, while the two screens would be an intriguing update, possibly allowing more firing modes or characteristics (and perhaps facilitate selfies). It is plausible that we also see updates in other areas, including monitoring capabilities and audio capture.
There was a three -year gap between pocket 2 and pocket 3, so we could have to wait until 2026 for pocket 4, unless DJI decides to expel it before the end of the year. We have already seen DJI launch its first 360 camera in early 2025, the DJI Osmo 360.
