Hernández’s body was found approximately 70 miles from his house. According to Ktla in Los Angeles, the family called Hernández during the weekend, but the coach replied his phone, who said that Hernández’s hands were covered with paint, and could not answer the phone.
The family had a video talked with Hernández earlier in the day.
The teenager had gone to the coach’s house to help paint his team’s football shirts, his mother, Gladys Maribel Bautista, he told Fox 11. The family reported missing on Sunday after he never returned home, and his body was found three days later.

The coach is now considered a person of interest in the case and, according to reports, has been questioned.
The coach does not consider himself a suspect, nor has his identity been released because the police have not publicly confirmed that he is the same person who is interrogated regarding the death of the adolescent.
Hernández’s sister, Alejandra, told Fox 11 that the coach “even helped us look for Oscar.”
“We never thought he would harm him,” he said.
