Rita Benson Leblanc, the granddaughter of the last Santos de New Orleans The owner Tom Benson was arrested in South Carolina this week after an alleged dispute with an officer of the parking law.
Leblanc, 48, was arrested by the Charleston Police Department On Monday night, around 6:30 pm and accused of “assault/resistance/obstacle/oppose/interfere with the city officer/employee,” said Pak Gazette Digital department spokesman.

The arrest of Leblanc arose from an incident that involved an agent of the parking law. Police responded to the reports that the former heiress had pushed an officer in the center of Charleston.
A department spokesman told Pak Gazette Digital that Leblanc, at one time during the interaction, also took the officer’s parking boots blocking tool while the officer applied a boot to a vehicle.

Leblanc was executive and co -owner of the two organizations for only two years before being fired in 2014, The New Orleans defender reported.
She must return to court next month.
