Marco Santori, the former legal director of Kraken, has joined Panther Capital as a general partner in the investment team.
Santori, who renounced Kraken in January 2025, will focus on expanding the Panther cryptocurrency portfolio, while acting as a resource for portfolio companies on regulatory compliance and strategic growth, according to a blog blog.
He will also continue his role in participating with policy formulators to advocate clear and friendly regulations with innovation in the United States already worldwide, Panthera said.
The progress of clear cryptographic regulations in the US makes it an approach area for the companies that are prepared.
Sartori, who testified to the United States Congress on the subject of cryptographic regulation, is recognized for developing the “SAFT” frame (simple agreement for future tokens), a cornerstone of Compatible Token sales.
“I will join Panther at a crucial moment for cryptography on the world stage. After more than a decade of work, governments have finally adopted the benefits of blockchain technology,” Sartori said in a statement. “The moment could not be better, and Panther could not be better positioned to capitalize it.”
