The former Michigan star Taste the Ohio State football stadium

The practice experience of the Wings Network seemed drastically different this week. The Detroit NHL franchise skated around a temporary track in the middle of the Ohio stadium, the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team.

Dylan Larkin, who went up to the hockey stardom with the Michigan Wolverines, criticized the aesthetics of the football stadium.

“It’s probably the ugliest stadium I have been,” Larkin said.

The Wings Red were in Columbus, Ohio, Friday to practice before the Saturday stadium series game against the Blue Jackets.

The NHL star, Matthew Tkachuk, reflects on the 4 final nations: “We are very lucky to be from this great country”

“It’s great to play hockey outside,” Larkin told reporters. “There is a lot of emotion with the boys and (it’s) great to do something different.”

The forecasts require temperatures in the 20s when the disc falls. Wind bursts could also create some problems for players.

Patrick Kane de Detroit, who has played in several outdoor hockey games, talked about the weather.

“I’m sure the ice will be a little better (tonight), colder,” Kane said. “Sometimes today, I noticed it a little. You are skating in the wind, and then, on the other side, you are skating with the wind behind your back. That could be something that comes into play where maybe they could change the sides with 10 minutes remaining (the third period).”

The 2025 stadium series will give the Wings Red an Avenging opportunity for the 5-2 defeat on Thursday against the Blue Jackets in Detroit.
