The former World Series champion, Curt Schilling, had problems with the use of launch counts in the major baseball leagues when the 2025 season began.
Schilling appeared on Friday at “The Will Cain Show” at Pak Gazette Channel. Filling presenter Charles Hurt asked the former Arizona diamondbacks and Boston’s red socks if the release count has turned out to be good or bad.

The six-time All-Star shook his head.
“It has been a bad thing, but it is a direct result of money,” Schilling said. “[Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher] Paul Skenes gets almost $ 10 million to close the university. The teams are not going to spend that kind of money without their boys reaching the big leagues. Then, they are in the count of launch in the minor leagues, and end up entering the major leagues with tone counts, and you cannot ask the boys to do things for the first time in the big leagues.
“I have a bit of acid reflux every time I see a pitcher leaving the mound in the sixth entrance, turning his cap. But the game has changed.”
The MLB managers have routinely removed the launchers of the ball games if they start smelling 100 pitches during the games, regardless of whether the player has an intact sincere or whitled.

One of the most famous cases in recent memory occurred during the 2018 World Series when the Los Angeles Dodgers manager, Dave Roberts, relieved headline Rich Hill in the seventh entry during game 4 against Boston’s red socks.
Hill lasted 6.1 entries, allowing only one won race and a hit. He had released 91 launches and Los Angeles had a 4-0 advantage at that time. The bullpen of the Dodgers imploded, and the team finally lost the game 9-6.
The measure caused a reaction from President Donald Trump, qualifying Roberts’s movement as a “big mistake.” Hill responded by saying that the president’s approach should not have been in the game.
