Shawn Kemp, who spent most of his career in the NBA with the Seattle Supersonics, declared himself guilty in the 2023 shooting outside the Tacoma shopping center in the state of Washington.

Kemp still faces the possibility of imprisonment. A second degree assault in Washington has a maximum sentence of up to 10 years in prison and a fine of $ 20,000. The sentence is scheduled for August 22.
