The former NFL corner Kelvin Joseph was arrested after he was allegedly involved in an accident that killed a motorcyclist in Texas, police said.
Richardson’s police announced on social networks that Joseph reported his participation in the accident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday.
“Richardson’s police department officers contacted Joseph and determined that he was north in North Central Expressway in a BMW sedan when he was involved in a collision with the motorcycle,” police said. “While they talked to Joseph, the officers observed signs of poisoning. Joseph was subsequently arrested and accused of drunk driving (minor crime b) and a collision that implied personal injuries or death (severe second -grade crime).”
Police add that Cody Morris, a 27 -year -old boy, died in the accident.

The UFL recognized Joseph’s arrest in a statement to the television station of the Dallas WFAA area, but rejected any additional comments.
Joseph was a second round of the Dallas Cowboys in 2021 after playing for LSU and Kentucky at the University.
He played 10 games in his rookie year in Dallas (two openings) with 16 combined cups and two passes defended during that time. However, there was a serious problem out of the field during the low season of 2022.

Joseph was a passenger inside a vehicle where two others with him shot a group of men in Dallas, fatally hitting a man in his head. Police discovered that Joseph was not the shooter, and the NFL did not suspend it.
Joseph went on to play 16 games for Dallas in 2022, totaling 20 tacle with two defended passes and a forced loose ball. But he began bouncing from there.
He spent time with two teams in 2023, first with the Miami Dolphins for four games and then the Seattle Seahawks for a game.

Joseph played only two games as a corner of the Indianapolis Colts, who was the last one in the NFL to date.
