Jones also had an incident in 2023, where he was arrested and accused of alcohol poisoning, disorderly behavior and terrorist threat at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky international airport after an discussion with an airline employee on USB ports near his seat on his flight.
WLWT5 reported at that time that Jones declared himself guilty of disorderly behavior, while the other two charges were removed.
Jones, the sixth general selection of the 2005 NFL Draft, was a single All-Pro and Pro Bowler in the field, although he also fought with the arrests during his time. As a result, Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended it throughout the 2007 season and part of the 2008 season for violating the NFL behavior policy.
