Asante Samuel Sr. spent most of his NFL career with the New England patriots. His son, Asante Samuel Jr., spent the first four years of his professional football career with the Los Angeles Chargers.
The young Samuel currently appears as a free agent of the NFL. The Miami Dolphins recently sent Jalen Ramsey three times to All-Pro Jalen Ramsey to the Pittsburgh Steelers and could be looking to reinforce their corner room.
But the recent scathing comments of old Samuel about the state of the Dolphins franchise could be frustrated the possibility that his son lands in southern Florida.

From the point of view of Samuel Mr., the Dolphins organization suffers from deficiencies from top to bottom. He shared his feelings about the franchise during a recent appearance in his podcast “say what needs to be” while reacted to the exchange that sent Ramsey and the wing closed Jonnu Smith to Pittsburgh.
The Dolphins acquired Minkah Fitzpatrick security in exchange for Ramsey and Smith. Both teams also exchanged draft selections as part of the agreement.

Sun Sentinel reported that Ramsey was late for team meetings and practice sessions routinely during his mandate with Dolphins. In 2023, the corner Star also faced Vic Fangio, the Dolphins defensive coordinator at that time.

While Dolphins have had a regular season success under McDaniel, he has not yet guided the team to a postseason victory. The last victory in the Dolphins playoffs arrived in 2000.
Ramsey is attributed 24 professional interceptions. It will join a corner room in Pittsburgh that presents Darius Slay Jr. and Joey Porter Jr.
