The Star of the Red Sox of Boston, Alex Bregman, who won two titles of the series with the Houston stars, had a memorable return home. On Monday, Bregman went to the Visitors Club house for the first time.
He was received with strident cheers during his first turn to bat as a visiting player. The third base took full advantage of the moment by crushing a two -run homer to give Boston an early advantage.

“Every time you hit a home run in the big leagues, it’s quite special. But being able to do it first in the bat here was a great time that I will never forget,” Bregman said.
Bregman’s home run was historic. He became the first MLB player in more than six decades to reach a homer in his first appearance on the race dish on the road against a club with which they won at least two titles of the World Series. Duke Snider is the last player recorded in achieving the feat when he harassed in a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1963.

When Bregman went to the dish for his second turn to bat, many of the fans sang a different melody. Bregman hinted that the boos were expected and in general of good character.
“I loved it,” he said. “I hoped they did.”
Bregman added a base blow to go 2 by 4 at night.

The stars also honored Bregman with a video tribute that highlighted some of the special moments he had during his time in the team uniform. The faithful of the stars gave Bregman a standing ovation once the video ended. Bregman said he enjoyed the moment.
“Really great. Great moment,” Bregman said. “I just tried to soak everything. [manager Alex Cora] He told me to enjoy it, and I really tried. “
The stars finally set up a return to take the first game of the three -game series. The Red Sox entered Tuesday’s game with 65 wins, while the stars had 67 games in the victories column.
