“I was disappointed to do so,” Wester said, through the team’s website. “I know that Shedeur is going to enter the laboratory. He is going to work hard and will win that job in Cleveland.”

Sanders will have to advance in front of Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco and his rookie partner Dillon Gabriel.

Wester joined Colorado for the 2024 season after an outstanding 2023 with Florida Atlantic, during which he exceeded 1,100 yards receiving. He had 74 caught for 931 yards and 10 touchdowns in his single season with Sanders.

The Ravens Campo Marshal, Lamar Jackson, seems to have his choice of weapons to launch.

The team brought back to Rashod Bateman, Zay Flowers, Tylan Wallace and Devonz Walker. They added Deandre Hopkins in free agency after dividing a season with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tennessee Titans.
