Peshawar:
A high-level flood in Ghot Gol Stream in the Morkho area of the Alta Chitral forced the evacuation of local residents to safer places, while strong floods near Drosh caused the Peshawar-Chitral road for all types of traffic, authorities said Wednesday.
The flood was caused by the fusion of snow in the surrounding mountains. Local administration officials said that the strong waters of floods caused significant damage to crops and several connection roads near the current. However, there were no casualties, due to the appropriate evacuation measures.
In Kaldam Shahingar, near DROSH, meanwhile, strong closed floods of the Peshawar-Chitral road to all types of traffic.
