The image shared shows a silhouette of Lara Croft wielding her iconic dual pistols, surrounded by a bunch of mysterious ancient technology. To me, this looks more like his classic style, but it could even just be his fortnite design. As such, it’s hard to say if the trailer gives any clues about a new direction for the long-running franchise.
Developer Crystal Dynamics announced that it had started working on a new tomb Raider game in 2022, although we haven’t received any updates since then. Additionally, the studio has suffered multiple rounds of layoffs, the last of which was just a few weeks ago.
