A brief destination of potentially good news for those of you who are excited about the Star Wars: Knights of the former Republic redo.
As reported by IGN, knowing interactive CCO Tim Willits has shared an update on the next projects of developers through X / Twitter. Willits does not mention the Kotor Remake directly, but insists that the next study projects (which would presumably include remake) are still in development.
“Knowing Interactive is one of the world’s largest independent developers,” Willits wrote. “We are working on numerous games in many different genres. Everything we have talked about is still in development. We will share information about the next games when we have something great to share.”
Regardless of the Apertpers group from last year, Knowledge Interactive managed to maintain its projects, including the Star Wars: Knights of the former Republic redo. However, given the tumultuous nature of the acquisitions of Abrapers and the subsequent mass dismissals, things seemed quite gloomy for a while there.
While Willits does not declare directly, it is still an approval, we may receive a more constructive update about the remake at some point in the future. When that is, we are not sure, and in fact we have not had any concrete update since that initial advance of 2021.
