The federal government has increased vehicle transfer rates throughout Pakistan, even for electric vehicles (EV), with immediate effect.
The new rates, announced by the Ministry of Finance, apply to traditional and electrical vehicles and will be deposited in the designated government account.
Traditional vehicle transfer rates:

Up to 1000cc: increased from RS1,200 to RS2,750.

1001CC to 1800cc: increased from RS2,000 to RS5,500.

Above 1800cc: increased from RS3,000 to RS11,000.
Electric vehicle transfer rates:

Up to 50 kWh: RS2,500.

51 to 100 kWh: RS 5,500.

Above 100 kWh: RS10,000
Motorcycle transfer rates:
These changes aim to optimize the vehicle transfer process and provide consistency to the tariff structure throughout the country.
The Government has urged vehicle owners to comply with the new fees program to guarantee processing without problems of transfer applications.
