- The Ministry of Finance notifies the modified fuel rates.
- The kerosene reduced by RS1.46, light diesel by RS2.4.
- The new fuel prices will be effective as of September 1.
The Federal Government has decided to maintain the price of no changes without changes, while reducing high speed diesel in RS3 per liter for the next fortnight
The new fuel prices will enter into force as of September 1, according to an official notification issued by the Ministry of Finance.
He declared that the price of superior querosene (SKO) was reduced in RS1.46 per liter, and that of light diesel oil (LDO) by RS2.4 per liter.
The new Diesel, High Speed Light Diesel prices will be RS269.99, RS176.81 and RS159.76 per liter, respectively.
Gasoline drives small vehicles, Rickshaws and bicycles, which makes price increases especially hard in middle and low income homes that depend on it for daily trips.
In contrast, a substantial portion of the transport sector depends on high speed diesel. Its price is considered inflationary due to its general use in trucks, buses, trains and agricultural machinery, such as tractors and metro wells.
The highest cost of high -speed diesel contributes directly to the increase in vegetable prices and other essential foods.
