The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced the final cost of the long and short Hajj packages.

According to a ministry spokesman, the final price of the long HAJJ package has been set at RS 1,075,000, while the short Hajj package will cost RS1,150,000.

The spokesman also mentioned that the third installment of the Hajj quotas would be collected from February 1 to 10.

The spokesman added that the limited seats remain in the Government Hajj scheme, and new requests will be accepted by order of arrival until January 30.

The Hajj short package is complete, and reserves for the extended HAJJ package will only be accepted for available seats. Hayy’s private pilgrims can continue their reserve process until January 31.

Previously, the government introduced a new policy, “Ghar Se Ghar Tak”, to guarantee greater support and facilitation for pilgrims traveling through Hajj in 2025.

The initiative, aimed at improving the general experience of the Hajj, will provide a comprehensive service to the pilgrims from their departure in Pakistan until their return.

According to the policy, official guides, known as Nazmeen, will be appointed to help pilgrims throughout their trip. A total of 600 Nazmeen will be designated, with a guide assigned for every 150 pilgrims.

These guides will accompany Pakistan’s pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and back, providing vital assistance to navigate on the trip and perform Hajj rituals.

In addition to guiding the pilgrims, the Nazmeen will facilitate the accommodation agreements in Saudi Arabia and offer support during the Hajj rituals.

Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif issued strict directives for special preparations for Hajj 2025, emphasizing that no negligence will be tolerated by serving pilgrims.

The prime minister presided over a review meeting on Hajj 2025 preparations. He reiterated that pilgrims are Allah’s guests, and ensure that their comfort is the main priority of the government.

The authorities informed the Prime Minister that, as the previous year, sim cards for pilgrims will be provided from Pakistan, and the mobile application of the Hajj will continue to function to help them during their pilgrimage.
