The governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, has responded to the statement made by the mayor of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, stating that his approach during Ramadan is completely to serve the public, particularly during the time of Sehri and IFTAR.

In his comments, Tessori emphasized that his dedication to community service during the sacred month of Ramadan leaves him without time for anything else, particularly until after Sehri.

The governor of Sindh shared that he had the privilege of organizing Iphtar for the general consuls of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Oman, Turkiye, Malaysia, Russia and Bangladesh, and also had the honor of offering Iphtar to 10,000 people in the governor’s house.

He said that while serving the public, he also gains spiritual merit, highlighting that he provides daily gifts such as residential plots, Umrah tickets, motorcycles and telephones, in addition to distributing Sehri to several places.

Tessori also responded to critics, advising them to concentrate on making improvements instead of making jealousy about the love and support he has received from people.

He pointed out that this Ramadan had demonstrated his commitment to all citizens, with people from all origins, either Muhajirs, Sindhis, Punjabis, Baloch or Pashunns, consider him a brother and a son.

He concluded encouraging others to gain hearts through the service, emphasizing that this is the true measure of success, instead of being envious of popular support.
