Islamabad: Pakistan will replace ambassadors in eight capitals, including Russia, Australia, Romania, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Niger, Kirguistán and Ireland, as part of a large diplomatic shower. In addition, there are two consul generals assigned to two significant consulates.
Aisha Farooqui, Ambassador of Pakistan in Ireland, will take the position of Dr. Khalid Jamali as Ambassador of Russia in Moscow. The current Secretary of Additional Foreign Affairs of the Americas, Maryam Actab, will be sent to Ireland as an ambassador.
Altamash Wazir Khan, General Director of the Middle East at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be sent to Kyrguistan. To succeed Zahid Hafeez Chaudhary as a high commissioner for Australia, Irfan Shaukat travels to Canberra.
Ilyas Nizamani would be published as an ambassador to Romania replacing Muhammad Arshad Jan Pathan. Tariq Kareem is being considered for Myanmar as an ambassador that replaces Imran Haider. Haider has been designated as a high commissioner for Bangladesh Vice Syed Ahmad Marof. Shah Faisal Kakkar will be appointed ambassador to Niamey, Niger, replacing Ahmad Ali Sarohiee.
Mustafa Rabbani is being published as Jeddah’s general consul, while Shahbaz Hussain Khokhar will be published as Consul General of Montreal (Canada). Khokhar currently serves as general director of Europe in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The registration of Russia, Ambassador Khalid Jamali, who is one of the former foreign service officers in grade 22, is likely to hang his gloves after returning to the headquarters. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhary is being published as additional Foreign Secretary, while Syed Ahmad Marof will be assigned an important responsibility in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on his return to the headquarters, the sources said.
