The recent heat spell in Karachi has decreased with the partial return of the marine breeze, said the department of Meteorology of Pakistan (PMD).
The department expects the breeze to resume at night, gradually reducing temperatures throughout the city. Karachi’s maximum temperature will be forecast to travel for 38 ° C on Thursday.
Humidity levels were 74% to Thursday morning, while the winds were recorded at 10 km/h from the southwest.
Despite the improved conditions, air quality in the city remains categorized as unhealthy. The air quality index measured the concentration of pollutants in 115, indicating a persistently poor environment.
In other parts of Pakistan, the warm and dry climate is likely to prevail in most regions during the next twelve hours.
Light rain and thunderstorms are possible in isolated areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistán and Kashmir.
The morning temperatures in key cities included 15 ° C in Islamabad, 24 ° C in Lahore, 26 ° C in Karachi, 19 ° C in Peshawar, 13 ° C in Quetta, 14 ° C in Gilgit, 11 ° C in Murree and 18 ° C in Muzaffrabad.
