- Here is another look filtered to the iPhone 17 Air
- It could be significantly thinner than the iPhone 17 pro max
- Four iPhones are expected in September
If you are counting the days, you will know that we are about 150 days or so from the launch of the iPhone 17 series, and a freshly filtered image of two fictitious units gives us an idea of the difference in thickness between two of these phones.
The fictitious units are phones of phones not that do not work based on schemes obtained from the supply chain, and the well -known Tipster @majinbuofficial has published an image of two of them: the iPhone 17 Air to the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
If you have been following the rumors to date, you will know that the air of the iPhone 17 is ready to replace the iPhone 16 Plus in the flagship line of Apple. It is said that it measures only 5.84 mm in front of behind, if the leaks we have seen are precise.
And you can really see that thinness on display here. If the iPhone 17 Pro Max is the same thickness as the iPhone 16 Pro Max, then it will measure 8.3 mm from front to back, which makes the PRO MAX 42% thicker than the air.
This is what is coming

These fictitious units really don’t tell us too much about what is coming, but it is an interesting visual comparison. In fact, we have already seen enough leaks of fictitious units showing the designs of the 2025 iPhone series.
Together with the two phones presented in this image, it is also very likely that we obtain a standard iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Pro. The PRO and the Pro Max are apparently online for a blow of RAM and other updates.
In a response to the image publication of the original fictitious unit, the industry analyst Ross Young reiterated his prediction that the iPhone 17 Air will come with a 6.55 -inch screen, along with the standard characteristics of iPhone such as Magsafe.
If Apple adheres to its usual schedule, all these phones should appear at some time in September. Before that, we have the World Developer Conference (WWDC) in June, where we are likely to listen more about iOS 19.
