They can be granulated, but the leaked images of the DJI Osmo Nano have excited me. If the fixed images are legitimate, and they look quite convincing, DJI could be about to launch their smaller and laptop chamber of action to date. That is great news if you are a creator who triggers the first -person content for social. It also seems ready to stir things in the Action Cam market.
Judging by the images, which you can see in the publication X embedded below, the rumored Osmo Nano is shooting for the Insta360 Go 3s. Based on the images of DJI Osmo Nano filtered, it has a similar size chamber unit that can magnetically join clothes. There also seems to be an optional modular screen block for those who wish to frame shots or check the images on the fly. Of course, DJI has not confirmed anything, but the leaks come from a reliable source. The product certainly seems the part.

Dji to go?
The leaked images, originally published on Chinese social networks before being collected by Dji Leaker @quadro_news, show the camera cut in front of a shirt, probably maintained in place by a magnetic support. Due to the low resolution of fixed images, it is difficult to know if there is a protective housing.
Of course, DJI is forming when it comes to modular action cameras. The DJI Action 2 was launched in 2021 with an innovative modular design. He separated from the established GoPro -style factor, in favor of a small square chamber unit that could magnetically join different modules, including a battery and a visualization block.
While action 2 had its fans, it was not the most convincing concept proof. He ran hot and fought with little light. The waterproofing was not extended to the modules either. In summary, he did not nail the case of first person use. Finally, DJI returned to a traditional chamber design with the DJI Osmo 3 action.
That is why Osmo Nano’s escape is so exciting. He feels like DJI’s second swing in something that could really interrupt the space of the portable camera. It also represents a diversification for DJI: not happy to face GoPro in the mud and glory market, suggests that DJI is also anxious to serve casual creators.
If vlogue, cook or simply want to record content from a natural human perspective, the Nano Osmo could be the most interesting DJI product in years. A feather, clip and forgetfulness action chamber that leaves your hands completely free? That is a different proposal to anything in your alignment.
People in filtered images also seem to use microphones, which suggests that DJI Osmo Nano will admit audio recording through a wireless microphone, such as the DJI Mic Mini. That was a characteristic that was missing in Osmo Action 2, and one already offered by the Osmo Action 5 Pro.
Of course, there are still many unknowns. We do not know the specifications, the video resolution, the stabilization or the battery life. We don’t even know if ‘Osmo Nano’ is the final name. After all, DJI has fallen and revived the Osmo brand before. But the form in form only suggests a product very different from the contemporary cameras of DJI. If necessary, it could be the beginning of a new line aimed at creators who care more about the portability than control.
I will be watching closely for more details. If it really is a first -person camera that combines DJI image chops with Insta360 style portability, the Nano Osmo could become the portable camera to win. Part of that will be reduced to the reliability and user experience, factors that I can only evaluate when available for review.
Based on other leaks, I will not have to wait long to find out: as we recently reported, the model could break the coverage in early July 2025, together with the DJI 360, it is rumored that it is the first 360 degree camera of DJI.
