The interim bond of PTI leaders extended


Rawalpindi:

An anti -terrorist (ATC) Court in Rawalpindi extended on Friday the interim bond of PTI Aleem Khan leaders, Alia Hamza, Nadia Khattak and Azam Swati until last week in cases related to the protests of the party in Islamabad on the 24th and 26th last year.

Aleem Khan, sister of the founder of PTI, Imran Khan; Alia Hamza, the main organizer of Punjab, former federal minister Azam Swati and Nadia Khattak appeared before the special judge of ATC Amjad Ali Shah.

During the auditory arguments they submitted in their bail requests.

The court extended the interim bail of Aleem Khan until June 26; The interim bail of Alia Hamza until June 27; and the bail of Swati and Khattak until June 28. The lawyers were led by the court to complete their arguments on the next hearing date.

Speaking with the media after the audience, Aleema Khan and Alia Hamza criticized the Government for the use of force against PTI’s protest on November 26, 2024. They said that PTI had organized a peaceful protest that is a constitutional and legal right of the party.
