The Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with the American congressman Alexander Green, informed him about the incidents of terrorism and the infiltration that originated in Afghanistan. The meeting took place in Houston.
During the meeting, Interior Minister Naqvi and Congressman Green discussed matters of mutual interest, focusing on promoting relations between Pakistan.
Naqvi informed Congressman Green about terrorism and infiltration incidents of Afghanistan. Naqvi also thanked Congressman Green for his important support for the victims of the earthquake and recent floods in Pakistan.
Mohsin Naqvi praised the great praise of the United States, Alexander Green, on the Palestinian issue, stating that Green’s strong voice for Palestine is commendable and has received great appreciation.
Naqvi also mentioned that the relationship between Pakistan and the United States is becoming warmer, and in the next few days, relations between Pakistan-United States will become even stronger.
Congressman Alexander Green said he would visit Pakistan again, noting that he had already visited the country four times to express solidarity and help the people affected by the earthquake and floods.
The Consul General of Pakistan in Houston, Mohammad Actab Chaudhry and the prominent American Pakistani businessman Tahir Javed were also at the meeting.
Previously, Mohsin Naqvi said on Sunday that US legislators were being incited against Pakistan, emphasizing that his current visit was aimed at formulating a joint strategy in the fight against terrorism.
Speaking with the media in the city of Houston from the United States on Sunday, Naqvi made it clear that he did not attend any anti-China function during his current visit from the United States. He rejected the impression that was created on his participation in a youth event as “poisonous propaganda.”
The minister said he had attended a youth event that had been given the incorrect color through propaganda.
“I didn’t go to any anti-china function,” Naqvi told the media. “Opponents are spreading poison propaganda, but this propaganda doesn’t matter,” he added.
