Rawalpindi:
Once known for its greatness and immensity, the city of Rawalpindi is currently a challenge of illegal invasions, which makes it a congested metropolis and full of people.
The conversion of small bazaars into mega markets that nest huge commercial places have increased the number of illegal invasions and now, not only the main bazaars, but the adjacent streets have also been congested.
The practice is spread by merchants, vendors and municipal authorities so shortly after measures are taken against invaders, invasions appear again.
The assistant commissioner (city), Dr. Eman Zaffar, states that the problem falls to merchants and the administration has adopted a multipolized strategy to combat this threat. “The conversion of the thick historical bazaar in a pedestrian zone, which provides alternative travel routes and constantly performs anti-encaled operations is an example,” he said. “With these measures we are trying to transform this bazaar once again into a spacious area.”
Highlighting a massive repression against invaders, Dr. Eman said the administration is coming out for a successful repair of this long -awaited problem. However, she emphasized the need for civic meaning between the masses.
Identified the increase in the population, the increase in urbanization and lack of self -assessment as important problems. “Another complex problem related to congestion is that the old markets and buildings still house thousands of families in the upper floors. We have to consider the civic dynamics of the commercial residential areas of semen, since the markets are not only shopping centers but also residential groups. This requires a sophisticated approach,” he explained.
Statistics show that the areas of the city were eliminated by confiscating 155 truck loads, 3,123 cars, 831 counters and 19 illegal stores of stores and houses, in addition to the elimination of 264 concrete invasions of the areas ranging from Raja Bazaar to Murree Road, 4th, 6th Roads and Sadiqabad during the recent antihacmental enrichment.
As the invasions in Rawalpindi, which has about 11 main bazaars, have been cleared, the data show that during a single repression recently made, 522 trucks were confiscated and 4,572 concrete constructions and soft invasses were eliminated.
To counteract the common complaint of the invaders that reappear after a couple of days, the CEO of the Cantonment Board of Rawalpindi, Ali Irfan Rizvi, has applied a strategy of “monitor and action” deploying the personnel of the RCB application in Bazaars ensuring that there are no cars, positions and other mobile wires reappears on the roads. “
Heavy machinery was used to destroy concrete ramps and sheds during the recent trip in Tench Bhatta, Dhamial, Kamal Abad, Choohr and wrong areas.
