An investigation of the title IX on the male basketball coach of the Florida Gators, Todd Golden, was dismissed, said his lawyer in a statement on Monday.
The lawyer William Shepherd issued a statement to CBS Sports on the investigation of the statements made on Golden.

“The investigation has not found evidence that supports the accusations against the Golden coach,” reads the statement. “The conclusion of the university shows that the complaint lacked the foundation.”
Golden was accused of sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, harassment and cyber harassment of several women, including students, in November. A report in the school newspaper said that Golden made unwanted insinuations on Instagram, requested sexual favors and sent photos and videos of his genitals.
According to the reports, the complaint of Title IX was presented on September 29.
Shepherd criticized those who tried to generate a “false narrative” about the chief coach of the Gators.

Instead, they sought to point to the Golden coach and promote their agenda and this investigation for their Own interest. and his friends;
“The Golden coach appreciates the support that he and his program have received from so many people in the university and throughout the country. Now that this has concluded, the coach can continue to focus on the basketball season and consider their legal options out of season , but now is time to move on. “
Golden denied the accusations in a statement in November and said he would weigh a defamation lawsuit.
“During the last month, I actively participated and respected the confidentiality of an ongoing school investigation,” reads the statement. “I recently hired Ken Turkel to advise me on my ability to present demands for defamation while this confidential research is ongoing.
