- The four main iPhone 17 models could obtain promotion screens
- A new rumor suggests that Apple is using OLED Samsung M14 panels of 120Hz for allegedly close phones
- A separate rumor suggests that the alignment of the iPhone 17 will obtain a new Wi-Fi chip
Although Apple has just completed the iPhone 16 family with the new iPhone 16E, we continue to listen to rumors of the next generation of iPhone phones.
And although the 16E iPhone represents the most focused on the budget of the Apple smartphone line, a new rumor suggests that the whole family will obtain a professional level visualization function with the next generation of iPhone.
According to a LEAKER DIGITAL LEAKER WEIBO (through Phonerarene), the four main models of iPhone 17 could be launched with 1-120Hz variable update screens, which Apple marks as a promotion.
As the name implies, Apple has previously limited its promotion to its PRO: iPhone Pro and Pro Max, iPad Pro and Macbook Pro devices.
Although Setsuna Digital did not directly confirm that the promotion would arrive at the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Plus (in addition to the OLED Samsung M14 iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max panels), he said that the four phones would use OLED SAMSUNG M14 panels, which admit fees of variable update.
However, Apple could still limit the update rate of the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 Plus through the software, although this would probably face a violent reaction as an atrocious example of the famous strategy of differentiation of forceful models of the company.
The recently released iPhone 16E uses the 60Hz panel with anus of the iPhone 14. Although Setsuna Digital does not mention an alleged iPhone 17E, there is apparently less possibilities that an average range iPhone that receives the update of the promotion together with the line models major.
However, the iPhone 17 series can take signs of the iPhone 16E when it comes to connectivity.
The 16E iPhone is remarkable as the first device to present the new C1 modem of Apple’s patented C1, and another rumor suggests that the iPhone 17 series will have a new Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip patented, apparently together with the Modem C1.
The good reputation analyst and Apple Oracle Ming-Chi Kuo suggested in a publication to X (previously Twitter) that the new Wi-Fi chipset would allow a better connectivity between several Apple devices.
So, those are two rumored updates for the iPhone 17. We do not expect to hear official news of the iPhone 17 series until much later in the year, but for now let us know what you would like to see in the comments below.
