The iPhone 17 Pro again leaned to obtain a steam camera: here is why that would be a big problem

  • It is rumored that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max have a steam camera
  • However, the base air of the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 may not have one
  • A steam camera could avoid overheating, allowing better sustained performance and better battery life

A few months ago, we heard that the iPhone 17 series could win a steam camera to help prevent overheating, and now another source has echoed these statements, and even provided some evidence.

Leaker Majin Bu (through Macrumors) claims to have learned from an “internal source” that both the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a steam camera. Supposedly, this will be a pro-exclusive update, which disagrees with that previous leak, which pointed out that the four models obtained a steam camera.

In any case, we would take this last advice with a pinch of salt, since BU has a mixed history, but they have supplied an image of what they claim is part of a steam camera destined for these next phones (below).

That supposedly filtered image, together with the fact that multiple sources have mentioned a steam camera, suggests that at least some iPhone 17 models can obtain this update.

Keeping it fresh
