- The new renders show the alleged colors that reach the range of iPhone 17 Pro
- The information in the colors of the iPhone 17 has also leaked
- The iPhone 17 Pro could also get an even stronger screen
Normally we do not take a look at Apple’s next iPhones until the company presents them in its September launch event. But all that has changed with the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, since Appleinsider has produced a set of renders that says they are based on “rumors and prevalent speculations.”
Much of this speculation is based on a Macworld report earlier this week, which claimed to have obtained an “internal document” used by Apple to detail the next colors, complete with Pantone color names.
Now, Appleinsider has put that information to use in its renders. The images show the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 pro max in five colors: orange, dark blue, gray, black and silver.
That is a great deviation of the colors found in the iPhone 16 Pro range. Although the black and gray tones supposedly will correspond to the black titanium and the natural titanium of the iPhone 16 PRO, the orange, dark and silver blue tones do not coincide with any color currently in use in an iPhone Pro of Pro level.
Appleinsider did not provide renders for devices that are not pro in the iPhone 17 range, which includes iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air. However, the recent Macworld filtration gives us some indications of what we could see there too.
According to the Macworld report, the iPhone 17 will apparently will be available in six different options: black, white, steel gray, green, purple and light blue. The black and white tones will be the same as those you find on the iPhone 16, and the other four are new.
As for the air of the iPhone 17, it will allegedly come in black, white, light blue and light gold, colors claimed by the Majin BU filtration in early July. While its black tone will be the same as the one found in the iPhone 16, the white option will be a brighter touch compared to that device.
An even stronger screen
The new colors are not the only attractive leak for iPhone 17 Pro that has just appeared. According to a source that speaks with Macrumors, the iPhone 17 PRO could obtain a scratch -resistant anti -reflective screen that provides more protection than the current Ceramic Protective glass of Apple.
The unusual thing is that this technology was originally rumored in March 2024, but then it was suggested that production problems meant that Apple could suspend it. Now, it seems to be on their way again, although only on the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, not on the iPhone 17 or the iPhone 17 Air.
Given the back and forth story of this function, we will take this last rumor with a dose of skepticism. But if Apple can strengthen the iPhone 17 Pro screen, and offer the device in a range of new intriguing colors, it could be a tempting device when it is launched at the end of this year.
