New York Jets have responded to the accusations made by former employee Elaine Chen.
Chen has filed a lawsuit claiming that he was fired in response to his role in an investigation of accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior against the president of the team, Hymie Elhai. Cen alleges that the jets retaliate against her and her husband after complaints against Elhai were filed.
The Jets have provided a statement to Pak Gazette Digital by calling “categorically false” accusations and that the organization is presenting legal claims against Chen and her husband.

“Recent accusations against the organization and Mr. Elhai are categorically false. We are presenting legal claims, including defamation and defamation against Mrs. Chen, her husband, Larry Fitzpatrick, and other parts involved,” reads the statement.
“The accusations made against Mr. Elhai were taken seriously and thoroughly investigated according to the organization’s policy, and involved third party research measures.
“That research revealed the truth, with a disturbing turn: the accusations of harassment were not only of foundation, but the email in the center of the accusations was part of a deliberate and illegal conspiracy of the employees of the jets, including Mrs. Chen and her husband, Mr. Fitzpatrick.”
Cen’s demand did not identify her husband by name. Fitzpatrick was the Vice President of Sales and Services of Tickets of the team.

The organization’s statement also included a series of points that address Chen’s accusations.
“The facts and findings of the investigation are irrefutable:
- The plaintiff, Mrs. Cen, participated in the manufactured email and lied to the company about her participation.
- The complaint deliberately omits the critical evidence of Mrs. Chen’s role in the conspiracy and contradicts the statements she made during her own investigation interview.
- Her husband, Mr. Fitzpatrick, among other misconduct, lied about her role in sending the manufactured email and tried to obstruct research by eliminating more than 4,000 text messages, some of which describe the timeline and involve Mrs. Chen in the scheme of her start. As a consequence, the use of Mr. Fitzpatrick with the jets was over.
- The text messages and interactions that the complaint attributes to Mr. Elhai is very exaggerated and positioned for the sole purpose of the manufactured narrative. In addition, before the manufactured email, the company had conducted multiple confidential surveys throughout the company by external companies and Mrs. Chen, her husband or any other person did not raise accusations of harassment, her husband or any other person.
- The former JET employee in reference in the lawsuit has already recognized and admitted that the accusations of harassment by Mr. Elhai did not have an objective basis and that he worked in concert with Mr. Fitzpatrick to facilitate email, “the statement continued.
In his demand, Chen alleges that the Jets were “attacked to anyone who supported the accusations against Elhai and/or the belief that Mr. Elhai’s sexual behavior justified a real investigation and/or disciplinary action.”
The lawsuit also states that her husband was fired after he “confirmed” the accusations in the investigation.
The Jets claim that they generally do not comment on active litigation, but opted for the circumstances of this case.
“While we would normally refuse to comment until we present our legal response, in this case, we are immediately forced given Mrs. Chen’s decision to continue the illegal conspiracy through litigation and make the circumstances of their termination for the planes for the planes are a public registration issue.

“The Jets fired her for legitimate and legal commercial reasons: specifically, for her atrocious misconduct, including the elimination of communications and lies, everything to promote an illegal conspiracy to damage and defame the organization and Mr. Elhai with the malicious intention of being fired and destroyed her reputation and career.
“We do not intend to comment more while legal procedures are underway.”
Chen lawyer could not be contacted to comment.
