During the hearing, one of the defendants, Atir, told the Court that I had never met Malick and saw him for the first time during the preventive detention. He refuted the statement that Mallick had some participation in the illegal call center.

The lawyer Jibran Nasir argued that the FIA had not provided details of the alleged crime committed by Malick and questioned what evidence he recovered during his preventive detention.

In response, the investigating officer said the recovered team had been sent for a forensic exam.

Nasir also said that as soon as Malick was sent to judicial request, another case was recorded against him. He questioned if a third case would also begin against the journalist.

However, the investigating officer informed the court that no more cases had been registered against Malick.

Malick faces two separate cases: one low after it was arrested under the Electronic Crime Prevention Law (PECA) for allegedly publishing anti-state content on social networks, and another that involves money laundering and facilitating an illegal call center.

Your bond audience for the first case is scheduled for April 3, while the second case will be heard on April 7.

Malick, who worked for a private news channel such as its news director and now has a YouTube channel, was arrested on March 20 for charges of dissemination of antistatal content.

In another case that the FIA was registered against Malick, the agency claimed to have raided a call center, claiming that its employees were involved in the theft of data from foreigners and disappointing them.

Two suspects were arrested, who, according to the reports, told the authorities that the call center was being operated under the orders of Malick.

The FIGUE declared that the suspects, Syed Muhammad Atir Hussain and Hasan Najeb Alam, along with others were involved in defrauding several foreign citizens by stealing confidential financial data of their credit cards “through counterfeit calls and supplantation”, which is supposedly used due to unfair causes.
