The judge again issues the arrest orders of KP cm

Islamabad:

A judicial magistrate in Islamabad has once again rejected the request of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s prime minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, of exemption to attend the procedures of a case related to the possession of illegal liquors and weapons and maintained his arrest orders.

On Monday, Gandapur again did not appear in the court of Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti despite being summoned. His lawyers were also absent.

Judge Chishti commented that even after multiple calls for the case, no one appeared in court.

Western a final deadline for Gandapur until Monday at 2:30 pm to register his statement under section 342 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Then, the court postponed the procedures until that moment and warned that the breach that it did not appear would result in the loss of the right to register the declaration.

When the session resumed, Gandapur’s lawyer, Raja Zahoor-Ul-Hahas, arrived at La Tribuna and submitted a request to exempted the appearance, citing Gandapur’s participation in the Senate’s elections.

Judge Chishti, however, asked him to register declaration 342 or lose the right to do so.

The lawyer granted a company ensuring that Gandapur appeared at the next hearing. He said that seven coacked had already been acquitted, and a petition for the acquittal of Gandapur was also pending.

The judge pointed out that the CM of KP had previously committed to appearing in the Court and registering the statement himself, and that the date had been established in accordance with his own convenience.

The lawyer declared that the Superior Court of Peshawar had granted the bond to Gandapur in all related cases, and requested one more date for declaration 342 to register. Judge Chishti told the lawyer to submit the necessary requests, saying that he would issue an order shortly.

Later, the Court rejected the exemption application and maintained arrest orders, ordering Gandapur to be arrested and produced in court. The judge postponed the procedures until July 22 (today).

The case dates back to October 2016, when the Islamabad police claimed to have recovered five assault rifles of Kalashnikov, a gun, six magazines, a bulletproof vest, alcohol and three tear gas shells of a vehicle belonging to the PTI leader outside the Bani gala. The case was registered at the Bara Kahu Police Station.

The same judge on July 19 issued non -financing arrest orders for the main minister of the KP and ordered the officer of the House of Representatives (SHO) concerned to guarantee their production before the court.
