Head of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-Islam (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman issued a severe warning to the federal government on Sunday, claiming that his party could “take over Islamabad within a one-week warning” if he takes it to the edge.

Going to the Shair-E-Islam conference in Battagram, the Chief of Jui-F said that his party rejected the general elections of 2018 and 2024, describing them as “fraudulent and manipulated.” He accused the ruling coalition of lack of legitimacy and warned the establishment of ignoring the public’s will.

“These types of governments cannot last,” said Rehman. “Those who consider themselves powerful must bow before the will of the people.”

Stating that his party represents constitutional supremacy, the leader Jui-F promised to lead a movement that would cause a “revolution” in the country. “We want the rule of law and the Constitution. Jui-F workers will be in the field, and success will be ours, because Allah’s power is with us,” he added.

Taking a strong united anti-state posture, Fazl accused Washington of hypocrisy and betrayal. “The same America that abandoned us many times is now asking to re -unite our hands, invoking the name of the prophet Ibrahim (as), he said. “But how can we forget the role of the United States in the oppression of Muslims in Palestine, Libya, Egypt, Syria and Jordan?”

Referring to recent praise for the president of the United States, Donald Trump, by the Government, criticized Trump’s nomination by the Prime Minister by a Nobel Peace Prize. “Our opinion is clear: if Trump exists, peace does not, and if peace exists, Trump no,” he said.

Chief Jui-F also expressed solidarity with Iran in opposition to Israel and promised the preparation of defending the holiness of sacred sites. “We are committed to the unity of the Muslim Ummah and ready to protect Haramain,” he said.

Warning of the consequences that said his party was being “forced” towards a confrontation. “We prioritize national security, but if the need arises, we will declare jihad and leave our lives for the defense of this country,” he said.

Reiterating his rejection of the prevailing political order, Fazl said his party would continue to oppose the current configuration. “We do not allow the previous government to work, and we will not allow it to work,” he said. “We are not willing to accept this government and we will continue against it.”

The conference was also approached by the main Jui-F leaders, including Mauula Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, who alleged that the current provincial government in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa had “broken all corruption records.”
