The landslide damages the houses in Murree

Murree:

The heavy rains of the monsoon caused a landslide in the lower area of Masooto near Murree, which caused a large rock to crash into residential houses.

A house was completely destroyed, and two others suffered partial damage. Milaculously, no victims were reported.

The incident occurred late at night in the town of Lohar Masoot Banat, part of the Daryagali Union Council, where a massive rock rolled down a hill and hit three houses. Parvez Abbasi’s house was completely demolished, while the properties belonging to Kashif and Chan Zeb Abbasi suffered damage to the walls and windows. Residents fear that more rocks may occur, which represents a serious threat to the community.

Due to the alleged negligence on the part of the road department, blocked drains and water channels have turned the streets into streams, causing inconveniences for both locals and tourists.
