The mayor of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, inaugurated on Saturday what is known as the largest livestock market in Asia, located near the northern bypass, and assured that all the necessary arrangements would be made to address the problems faced by buyers and merchants, said Express News.

He observed the importance of the market, stating: “Every year, millions of animals are taken to this market, and thousands of karachiites come here to buy sacrifice animals. That Allah accepts everyone’s sacrifice and bless merchants with good profits.”
Wahab emphasized the city’s government commitment to improve facilities. “We are working to build a society where people support each other during difficulties. We will address security concerns and guarantee cleaning and convenience for both buyers and sellers,” he said.
