- The new fictitious units of iPhone 17 have appeared online
- They show the glass and metal contours for the pro and pro max
- A substantial redesign for the two main models is expected
The season of leaks and rumors of iPhone 17 is fine and truly running, and a few days after the fictitious units of the 2025 flagship phones of Apple filtered online, we have a different lot for the pores, which shows the redesign of glass and metal of the iPhone 17 with a little more detail.
These new images of the fictitious unit are courtesy of the well -known Tipster @sonnyDickson, and it seems that we have the four models: the iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Air, the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro max (or iPhone 17 ultra, perhaps).
The fictitious units such as those shown here are based on schemes obtained from the supply chain and provide accessory manufacturers the opportunity to prepare their products for the day of launch. They also allow the rest of us to review the phones designs in advance.
When it comes to the Redesign of the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max, with thick rear camera bars, it is already a widely filtered appearance. We can also see that the smallest camera bar is expected to appear on the back of the iPhone 17 air.

What these fictitious units add, which previous leaks have not really shown us, is the way in which glass and metal will be combined in these iPhone designs. You can see a weak weak in Pro and Pro Max models, just below the camera bar.
That section apparently will be glass, allowing Magsafe’s wireless load. It is rumored that the other section is made of aluminum. That is a great change of the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Meanwhile, it seems that the design of the iPhone 17 will be in lines very similar to iPhone 16, while the iPhone 17 Air is a new telephone, which replaces the iPhone 16 Plus, it is rumored that it is super thin, so we have no predecessor to compare it.
We have also heard rumors about the memory and camera updates for these phones, improvements in video recording and perhaps a useful wireless load function. The phones should debut at some time in September, and we will have to wait until then to see what becomes reality when Apple reveals them completely.
