He added: “Because I feel that this is the gold standard for this type of adaptation, while enjoying all these beautiful expansions that naturally occur with the rest of the team and how they are working in the third season. So that is where my participation will remain at that very, very high level.”
When cleaning a certain confusion about why he left as co-showrunner, Druckmann added: “I felt that I could better fulfill all my responsibilities if I stayed at a higher level.
