The protests of the lawyers against the Hyderabad police continued for a second day, blocking traffic on the derivation road adjacent to Wadhu Wah Gate in Qasimabad.
Tents have been established, and the support of several political and religious parties has strengthened Protestant lawyers, which demand the elimination of SSP Hyderabad, Dr. Farrukh Ali Lanjar.
The president of Qaumi Awami Tehreek, Ayaz Latif Palijo, the head of the United Party of Sindh, Syed Zain Shah and others visited the Protestant lawyers and assured them their support.
Numerous lawyers from different cities of the Hyderabad division also joined the seated, which began on Thursday afternoon.
Merchants ‘unions in Hyderabad, the second largest city in Sindh after Karachi, issued statements in favor of lawyers’ lawsuits.
The lawyers of Mirpurkhas, Tando Allah Yar, Mehrabpur and Jamshoro also organized protests and sitting, blocking several roads.
Singing slogans against the police, lawyers warned the government that their fight would continue until the SSP was retired from office.
The sources reported that the provincial government has contacted lawyers for conversations, but a dead point remains the issue of lanjar elimination.
