The vote of the Hall of Fame results in arguments every year and, for the eighth consecutive year, the crowd is noisy on Andruw Jones.
The former Atlanta Braves gardener received his highest vote percentage on Monday, but did not join Ichiro Suzuki, CC Sabathia and Billy Wagner as those induced before.
Jones has made a lot of land.
He received only 7.3% of the votes in his first year on the electoral ballot, but reached 66.2% this week. Players need 75% to be chosen.

Jones, an toleter on the plate with 434 homers, is considered one of the best defensive gardeners of all time. He won 10 consecutive Glove Gove awards from 1998 to 2007, winning at least two in the three positions in the garden, while hitting .254 with a .823 OPS in his career.
He has a discussion, but one of his former teammates, Chipper Jones, who received a plaque in Cooperstown in 2018, said there shouldn’t even be a discussion.

Baseball writers have long been the voters of the Hall of Fame, but with defective concepts in the voting system, there have been calls to change the process.

Chipper and Andruw were teammates from 1996 to 2012, playing together in the World Series of 1996 and 1999, but lost to the Yankees on both occasions. They won 10 consecutive NL East titles together.
