- The Lenovo Legion Go 2 is ready to appear in IFA 2025, according to Leaker Evan Blass
- According to reports, the price is $ 200 more than the rumored Rog Xbox Ally X Retail Price
- Ryzen Z2 Extreme of AMD is just better than the Ryzen Z1 Extreme, which can hinder the potential success of the GO 2 Legion
The PC market for hand games is finally about to see so expected additions as we approach the last months of the year, and one of them, announced in CES 2025 in early January, can be ready to join the ranks of the best PC for hand games, but its price could be a disorder.
According to Notebookck, the Lenovo Legion Go 2 can cost $ 200 more than the Asus Rog Xbox Ally X, with its retail price potentially between $ 1,049 and $ 1,099, and will be presented completely in IFA 2025, according to Leaker Evan Blass.
The price of Rog Xbox Ally X is not confirmed, but rumors suggest an initial price of $ 899, possibly up to $ 1,000. The same source previously reported a precise release date of October 16, before the official Xbox announcement.
This is another PC of AMD Ryzen Z2 hand games with extreme energy, along with Rog Xbox Ally X and MSI Claw A8; All these hand computers are expected to cost a considerable price, with the A8 of the claw already confirmed in £ 850 (about $ 1,150 / Au $ 1,750) established for a launch of September 17 in the United Kingdom.
Since the Legion Go 2 is equipped with an OLED screen, it is very likely that Cost more than ASUS and the new Microsoft hand computer and the CLAW A8, so the NotebookCck report does not seem exaggerated.
However, the Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and its predecessor, the Ryzen Z1 Extreme, have very similar performance results in multiple games, as ETA prime stand out on YouTube (video below), despite the significant jump of prices of hand computers Ryzen Z1 Extreme.
It is sure to say that any hand computer that starts around $ 800 is already a difficult sale, so the suggestions of a price of $ 1,049 will not do any favor to Lenovo.
Of course, the performance will depend on the configurations and the amount of RAM available, but it can be difficult for many to justify GPU money spending on a PC for hand games, which barely works much better than many cheaper alternatives, especially the Allied Asus Rog.

ANALYSIS: Buy an AMD Ryzen Z1 laptop of extreme energy, before it is too late
Of all the reference points that I have seen so far, the Ryzen Z2 Extreme seems to be a minor update of its predecessor. While hand computers used by the new APU can have other specifications such as 74Wh or 80Wh batteries to justify higher prices, I still favor Ryzen Z1 Extreme Handhelds, and I think you should too.
Fortunately, I have been able to have in my hands the Lenovo Legion Go S Z1 Extreme at £ 699 here in the United Kingdom, with 32 GB of RAM and pre -installed stews. I am not a big fan of using my hand in the battery, as I mentioned before, so a 55.5Wh battery doesn’t care.
Essentially, the Legion Go S is a hand computer that costs less than the MSI Claw A8 (using the Ryzen Z2 Extreme as the Legion Go 2) while providing the same level of performance in the games.
A stronger example is with the original Allied of Asus Rog, which can be found in Best Buy at $ 649 and for a much less sale, instead of the A8 claw for £ 850, and probably higher when launched in the US.
It is not known how long the original Lenovo Legion, Lenovo Legion Go S and Asus Rog Ally will be available.
So, if you are not interested in spending about $ 1,000 for a hand computer, I would advise you to buy a Z1 Extreme device while you can.
