Rawalpindi:
An alleged case of alleged honor murder has emerged in the Pirwadhai area of Rawalpindi, where a man, with the help of relatives, allegedly murdered his wife and secretly buried his body.
Police revealed the case during an ongoing investigation.
The husband, Zia, initially presented a report by the missing person, claiming that when he returned home on July 11, he discovered that his wife (SG), with whom he married in January, had left his home with cash and jewelry after a minor dispute.
He later learned that he had married a man named Usman, despite being married.

According to this, the police recorded a FIR and began to probe the incident. A senior police officer, speaking anonymously, revealed to Express PAkGazette that the woman had been brought by force and allegedly murdered.
His body was buried in silence in a nearby area.
During the investigation, the local Gravigger was interrogated, which led to the discovery of the burial site. According to the reports, the suspects erased the tomb brands to destroy the evidence. Police arrested Gradigger and others involved.
Efforts are being made to obtain judicial permission to exhume the body and carry out a post mortem.
The FIR has been updated to include positions of murder and murder of honor. The raids are ongoing to detain the main suspect and their accomplices. Despite the repeated attempts, the police spokesman was not available to comment, stating that the matter is under review by senior officials.
