In addition, the Islamabad Policies Research Institute (IPRI) organized a seminar entitled “August 5 and beyond: Violations of International Law in IIOJK”.

Speaking in the seminar, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed accused India of “Hindutva fascism” and compared his policies with the “Israeli apartheid” in Palestine. “The actions of India in Kashmiro reflect the worst forms of colonial oppression. The world must act before it is too late,” he warned.

The former AJK president, Sardar Masood Khan, dismissed India’s development statements in Kashmir, stating: “If Cooka is really thriving under India, why do the Kashmir still are forbidden to visit the tombs of the martyrs? The truth is, India fears the insecure spirit of the people of Kashmiri.”

Meanwhile, Hurriyat leader, Altaf Hussain Wani, in an emotional interview with the state station, described on August 5 as a day of betrayal. “India thought I could erase the identity of Kashmir, but the resistance is strengthened. Pakistan’s support gives us hope that justice prevails,” he said.

From the mountainous regions of Gilgit-Baltistan to the bustling streets of Karachi, the Pakistani of all areas of life participated in manifestations, seminars and march to express solidarity with the Kashmir brothers.

In Gilgit, an important demonstration was held in Sir Syed Boys High School, where Governor Syed Mehdi Shah went to a great crowd. He said that August 5 is a black day in history when India violated international law and resolutions of the UN.

“The people of Gilgit-Baltistan are firmly with our Kashmir brothers, and we will continue our fight until Kashmir is free,” Shah said.

In Quetta, Mastung and other districts, the protests were led by government officials, including health minister, Bakht Muhammad Kakar. The speakers condemned the “state terrorism” of India and asked the UN to intervene.

In Peshawar, a mass demonstration was directed by Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, who warned that Pakistan is prepared to take decisive measures. “We have already shown India our strength in the May conflict. If the world continues to ignore the suffering of Kashmira, Pakistan will not remain silent,” he said.

In Karachi, the principal minister of Sindh, Sharjeel Memon, highlighted the “historical role” of Pakistani leaders such as Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto to advocate for the cause of Kashmir.

“From Quaid-E-Azam to Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Pakistan’s leadership has always been with Kashmir. Today, despite political differences, all parties are united on this issue,” he said.

Pakistani embassies worldwide organized events to highlight the abuses of human rights of India in Kashmir. In Tehran, the Iranian scholars joined Pakistani diplomats to condemn India’s actions, calling to Kashmir a “test case for global justice.”

The Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (EAU), projected documentaries on Indian atrocities, urging the EAU to support the cause of Kashmir. A photographic exhibition in Tokyo showed the suffering of the purse under Indian occupation.

In the demonstrations, seminars and other events, the speakers urged the International Intervention Community to help prevent the terror reign of India in Iiojk, where forced disappearances, the lesions of the pellet guns and the leaflets of the media persisted.

“The time for silence is over. The world must act before another assumption of Cashmiris is lost due to oppression,” the Foreign Minister was urged, Ishaq Dar, while heading to the main Yoim-E-Intehsal event in the Federal Capital.
