The Federal Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, made a surprise visit to H-9 Ramazan Bazaar on Sunday to evaluate arrangements for essential goods and price controls.
The minister visited positions linked to the help package of the Prime Minister, committed to buyers, and received updates on measures from the entire city to stabilize prices during the Holy Month.
During the visit, the minister examined the quality and availability of subsidized fruits and vegetables in positions administered by the Government.
He spoke directly with customers to collect comments about affordability and supply. District administration officials confirmed that 15 key foods are sold at reduced rates.
